Round of Applause

Big shout out and standing ovation to our friend Bridgett who diligently sat through hours of questions from Josh and I concerning medical questions. This for me is one of the most uncomfortable things we've had to complete as part of the adoption paperwork and Bridgett helped us navigate it with a level of educated guidance that google could not have accomplished. We appreciate you!

I get the sneaking suspicion that many, many people are going to be instrumental in this adoption process and we'll be doing these shout outs quite a bit. We are blessed to be surrounded by good people.

Shot to the arm and you're too late....

We had our big doctor's physicals to make sure that we aren't dead.  That's right, dead people can't adopt.  And though we got clearance (hooray I'm alive!), we also got flu shots & tetanus shots, oooh and blood work.  Were you counting? That's 3 needles each in one day.  They sent in two nurses! One to hold down Josh...I kid, I kid.  It was so they could double up.  We could experience the pain together.  It was a bonding moment for sure.
Josh did make the big mistake though of whining about the tetanus shot arm pain to his BBF (best bromance forever).  In a sign of solidarity and support, he immediately began poking said wound.  That BBF, he's a love!

We are down to about 3 offline documents and one online.  Things are moving right along
